Ingredients:
1 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers
1 tsp dried lavender petals (culinary-grade)
2 cups hot water
Optional: honey or maple syrup to sweeten
Optional: a squeeze of fresh lemon for brightness
Instructions:
Place the dried hibiscus flowers and lavender petals in a teapot or French press.
Pour 2 cups of hot (not boiling) water over the herbs.
Cover and steep for 5–7 minutes.
Strain into your cup.
Sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired, and add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra tang.
Sip slowly and enjoy the tart floral aroma!
*You can also put the dried herbs in a tea bag and then steep the teabag in a cup of hot water, then add honey or maple syrup & lemon after!*
This blend is both vibrant and calming—hibiscus brings a lovely tangy note while lavender’s gentle floral scent soothes the senses. Let me know if you’d like to tweak it or blend in other herbs!
