Hibiscus & Lavender Tea

ree

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers

  • 1 tsp dried lavender petals (culinary-grade)

  • 2 cups hot water

  • Optional: honey or maple syrup to sweeten

  • Optional: a squeeze of fresh lemon for brightness

Instructions:

  1. Place the dried hibiscus flowers and lavender petals in a teapot or French press.

  2. Pour 2 cups of hot (not boiling) water over the herbs.

  3. Cover and steep for 5–7 minutes.

  4. Strain into your cup.

  5. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired, and add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra tang.

  6. Sip slowly and enjoy the tart floral aroma!

*You can also put the dried herbs in a tea bag and then steep the teabag in a cup of hot water, then add honey or maple syrup & lemon after!*

This blend is both vibrant and calming—hibiscus brings a lovely tangy note while lavender’s gentle floral scent soothes the senses. Let me know if you’d like to tweak it or blend in other herbs!
