High Protein Pizza

Recipe adapted from Delish.com


I did not create this recipe — I found it on Delish and tried it myself. It was so good and so simple that I had to share it here. Sometimes wellness is just finding something that works and passing it along.


Ingredients


For the crust:

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan (or Pecorino & Romano) cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning


Toppings:

  • Pizza sauce or marinara

  • Mozzarella cheese

  • Any additional toppings you love


Instructions


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly oil it.

  3. Mix ground chicken, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.

  4. Press into a flattened pizza shape (it will be sticky — that’s normal).

  5. Bake 20–22 minutes (22 minutes for a firmer crust).

  6. Remove, add sauce and mozzarella.

  7. Bake 5 more minutes until cheese melts.

  8. Let cool slightly, slice, enjoy.
